Join us for traditional Shabbos Services in our Authentic 1920s Sanctuary Every Saturday @ 9:30 a.m.

We warmly welcome both regular and occasional visitors to our synagogue, which is a member of the Orthodox Union offering the comforting tradition of authentic Ashkenazi Jewish ritual to a diverse and welcoming community that enjoys spirited services in a historic setting.  All levels of observance are welcomed and respected.  After services, everyone is always invited to partake in our Kiddush lunch, Kibbitzing, and a thoughtful Dvar Torah by our spiritual leader, Rabbi Mendy Hecht.

Bubbie and Zaide are waiting for youPlanning a Shabbos visit?  Everyone's always welcome, and feels welcome.  While we appreciate financial support and membership is still $100, there is never a charge to attend our Shul and participate in our Jewish life.  Many of our members and regular visitors belong to other synagogues as well and consider our community as part of their Jewish life.  Just come.  We will make sure to set a place for you at our Kiddush lunch (okay, unless it's Yom Kippur!) and would be honored to include you in our davening

No experience necessary to experience Shabbos @ Orchard Street Shul.
